Located in the heart of Uptowne High Point, the JH Adams Inn offers elegant, flexible meeting space for board meetings, symposiums, seminars, general sessions, retreats, and social events for up to 125 guests with multiple break-out spaces.

Choose from current AV/technology packages, and full-service catering provided by on-site restaurant, Cristina Gray's Restaurant and Bar.  The Inn's conference facilities are some of the most technologically advanced in High Point, equipped with capabilities for high-speed Internet access, ISDN lines, and independent climate controls.

Guests find ease of access from interstate corridors to arrive and stay in comfort and style in the early Italian style mansion decorated with fine arts and High Point’s showcase of Southern Furniture. JH Adams Inn campus showcases 9 gathering areas, 31 guest rooms, and an upscale casual dining and bar.

Facility Details

Courtyard

The 2,500-square foot covered Courtyard can host gatherings up to 125 banquet style and features a Diamond Checkerboard colored patio, Sunbrella Awning covering most of the courtyard, festive exterior string bulb lighting creating the perfect ambiance for an outdoor event. The doorways leading to the interior space, the Diamond Room, provide access to additional seating and a nice transition from outdoor events to indoor dining. The courtyard lends to a more vibrant setting making it perfect for corporate parties, social events, and meetings. The Courtyard is best used from March – November, or with heaters.

Diamond Room

The 800-square foot Diamond Room features stained concrete design flooring, decorative wood trim walls displaying artful decor, rich crown molding and can host gatherings up to 50 banquet style. It can open to the Courtyard for additional flexible space that either requires a transition from presentation to dining or simply an outdoor fresh air experience.

Cristina Gray's Bar

The 310-square foot Cristina Gray’s Bar area seats to 16 with proximity to additional seating for 16 more in the Club Room. This space is used frequently for small group after hours meetings, and private bars for corporate events in High Point. With mounted TV’s, an expansive wine rack, and beautifully designed bar, this space lends to high energy, friend meet-ups and social hours.

The 247-square foot Club Room area is steps away from Cristina Gray’s Bar and lends for a more casual soft seating option to the Bar in comfortable corner booths. The room is perfect for small groups of 16 or less to convene for social or private meetings offering two door closures to separate from the common areas.

Lobby Area

The 627 square-foot Lobby can host gatherings up to 100 in banquet rounds and is often combined with the neighboring Bar, Club and Partners Room to host a combined 144 in banquet rounds or a combination of seating and reception style set-up for an event that encourages guest interaction. The Italian Style Mansion features antiques and the latest in art and furnishings that are often featured in the High Point Furniture Market showrooms.

The 247 square-foot Partners Room can host gathering up to 12 and is often combined with the neighboring Lobby and Club Room to host a combined 144 in banquet rounds. This room features a marble adorned fireplace and lends to a more intimate, formal gathering place. A boardroom table is often utilized in this space.

South Wing

The 414-square foot Heritage Room can host gatherings up to 25. Located in the South Wing, built in 2000, this meeting room is preferred by those who enjoy modern finishes for training sessions or break-out room space with projectors, screens, and recessed lighting.

Elizabeth House

The Craftsman Room and the Artisan Room are both located in the Elizabeth House next to the JH Adams Inn. Guests will enjoy a spacious, covered front porch, interior hardwood floors, plantation blinds, richly carved moldings, complete with kitchen, bathrooms and other support spaces. These rooms combined can seat up to 70 guests.

The 450 square-foot Craftsman Room can host gatherings up to 50 in banquets and provides for a more intimate setting for corporate break-out sessions. Located in the Elizabeth House, directly next to JH Adams Inn, this room provides for the ultimate privacy and is occasionally rented in its entirety, including the adjoining Artisan Room, private bathrooms and kitchen space. Full catering is offered in this space, the same as all other spaces at JH Adams Inn. The Craftsman and Artisan Room combined can host gatherings up to 70 in banquets.

The 255 square-foot Artisan Room can host gatherings up to 20. Located in the Elizabeth House, directly next to JH Adams Inn, this room adjoins the Craftsman Room and is often used in unison for private events. Full catering is offered in this space, the same as all other spaces at JH Adams Inn. The Craftsman and Artisan Room combined can host gatherings up to 70 in banquets.
