The Gallery at JH Adams Inn
The Gallery at JH Adams Inn presents a curated collection of original paintings and ceramics by High Point artist Zsuzsi Winn, on permanent view inside the Inn.
Rooted in nature, heritage, and craftsmanship, the collection reflects a living, evolving approach to art — one that feels discovered rather than displayed. Works are placed throughout the Inn to be encountered naturally, whether you are staying as a guest, gathering for a meal at Cristina Gray’s, or simply stopping in.
Guided by Southern hospitality and Winn’s European artistic perspective, the gallery offers an open invitation to pause, look closely, and experience art as part of everyday life.
Occasionally, guest artists whose practices share a similar appreciation for material exploration, narrative, and craftsmanship may be invited to exhibit alongside Winn’s work to expand the conversation.
All works on view are available for acquisition. Inquire at the front desk or browse the full collection online.

About the Artist

Zsuzsi Winn is originally from Budapest, Hungary and is now
based in North Carolina, bringing an international perspective to her artistic practice. Her paintings are exhibited in New York and North Carolina galleries and can be found in private collections throughout the East Coast. Winn paints tranquil lakes, marshlands, and water birds through a mixed media approach that maintains a dialogue between realism and soft abstraction, inviting viewers into contemplative landscapes that feel both familiar and dreamlike.
The JH Adams Collection is an ongoing collaboration between JH Adams Inn and Zsuzsi Winn Studio, bringing original art into one of High Point’s most storied spaces.
